what's the story?

#TheNOILadiesNeverStop :)

We came back on October 29th to where it all began and met at Escape The City's headquarters for a lovely evening focussing on the topics YOU wanted to hear.

This time we explored strategies to tell our stories. How do we engage our audiences? How do we get people to listen to us?

Robyn Peel and Leigh Taylor
Robyn is a coach, mentor, facilitator and general lover of people and life! She helps people get a clear understanding of who they are and helps them to dream big, define success on their own terms, take action and live fulfilling and meaningful lives. ...
Leigh runs Red Lotus Journey, a site dedicated to women’s retreats and sacred pilgrimage and is also a co-creator of The Space Between, creating mindful journeys to Japan. Her sincere wish is to help facilitate programmes and journeys where the stress consciousness is subdued.
Robyn and Leigh founded Finding Our Way after seeing many capable women forging their own path but questioning their impact, feeling overwhelmed and near burnout. The aim of Finding Our Way is to help these women change-makers THRIVE on their journey and stay balanced as they seek a more meaningful and wholly integrated lifestyle.
We help women explore a calmer, more focused way of being by spending quality reflective time and being more connected to oneself in a more mindful way. Our purpose is to facilitate becoming more conscious and aware in and of our actions in order to reach our own individual goals and to fulfil our greater aspirations in the world.

Vix Anderton
Vix is the Head of Project Management at Social Development Direct. She is a gender and security expert, with particular interest in gender mainstreaming in the military. A former Royal Air Force intelligence officer, she holds a Masters’ degree from King’s College London and has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including the Royal United Services Institute and Chatham House. She has worked for a number of think tanks, military institutions and women’s rights organisations to promote the rights of women and girls in conflict-affected and fragile states and has also spent several months volunteering with VSO in Bangladesh. Outside of work, Vix is a yogi-in-progress, regular half-marathon runner and novice climber. She volunteers with a London-based feminist organisation. She is also a member of the Rebel Book Club and a travel and lifestyle blogger.

Rachel Smith
Rachel is a qualified architect, a tennis coach, a sports fiend and someone who doesn't like to sit down. The best job she has ever had was doing the scoreboards at Wimbledon. She's always loved working out what motivates people and she believes that there is so much potential for greatness in everyone, her opportunity is to find out where it hides and to help people define what their businesses could become.
She studied architecture at the Royal College of Art, she teaches at the University of Nottingham, has exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts and won a national RIBA build award in 2012 and lives in London. She is the creator of You And Other Stories
