work net

We loved our second NOI work net event! Our work nets are moments of true sharing where some of the NOI Ladies' startups get on the stage and benefit from our collective wisdom and constructive feedback. But what we love the most about these events is that, after focusing on the single projects, we all get together to play the "queen bee" game, where we ask for what we want and get ready to receive it! So many connections and so much help...what a night! Read about the key takeaways here.

Liyun Ye is the Founder of Cup & Cone Ice Cream. She is an aspiring ice cream creator at night (who works in corporate finance by day). She has always had a passion for both creativity and food, which culminated in Cup & Cone - a flavour-driven ice cream company. Her ultimate dream would be to create a fantastic and playful ice cream eating experience in a physical space; for now you can find her selling ice cream at local London food markets.

Louise Graham is the Founder of The Think Collective. She is an award-winning marketeer with over 10 years experience helping brands come to life. Literally. The Think Collective is the result of years running a successful marketing agency in Glasgow and the dream to work internationally and location independent.

Martina Wierzbicki is the Founder of Wierz. She is a full-time engineer and part time eco-friendly, ethical handbag entrepreneur. While taking part in the Escape the City Startup Tribe, she discovered cork fabric as a beautiful and viable alternative to leather. Combined with great design, she knew it could be a huge success in the UK and so she is now working on her dream, Wierz

Mursal Hedayat is the Founder and CEO of Chatterbox. She is a former refugee and she knows first hand the immense untapped potential within the refugee community that Chatterbox aims to highlight.

These beautiful pictures of the #worknet event were taken by the talented photographer and NOI Lady Jess Yau. Check out her work here
